Lisa Moen

Saskatchewan-born Country Singer-Songwriter/ Recording Artist LISA MOEN performs at Jamborees, Cabarets, Corporate Functions, Night Clubs, House Parties, Small Town Dances, Fairs and much more! She is ready to entertain any size crowd to Lisa's Country Originals and popular Country Tunes. This Outlook, Saskatchewan girl has been singing professionally for ten years (formerly BULLRUSH) and her musical resume includes opening for The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Neil McCoy and Trooper. She has performed at Craven Country Jamboree numerous times as well as at The Canadian Country Music Awards Country Cabaret. Her debut single she wrote "Silly Boys Trucks Are For Girls" was the #1 Downloaded song to Canadian Radio nation-wide on the day after it was released in Aug 2014. Lisa was raised in a Country Music Family and has an at-home feeling of being onstage performing!

 

Racing to Canadian Country Radio Stations on March 10,2015 was Lisa's second original released to radio called "TESTDRIVE"... written by Lisa and Recorded/ Produced by SCMA/CCMA winner Bart McKay. It was the #5 downloaded song on Country Radio Nation wide the day it was released.  

 

Lisa began her solo music business spring 2014, in this time she saw great success in her two original releases to radio that she wrote, had some great exposure gigs such as Craven Country Jamboree , 45 min. televised set on Saskatchewan Telemiracle, a showcase set at the SASKMUSIC showcase at the CCMA's in Edmonton.    She filmed her first music video with FIVE STONES FILMS for her song "Silly Boys Trucks Are For Girls" and released it Jan. 2015.  She included real pictures in her music video featuring real Saskatchewan girls and their trucks.  At the SCMA Awards in April of 2015, Lisa won the Sask Country Music Association "Rising Star" Award.  She was also voted Planet S Magazine's 2015 "Best New Act".

 

Lisa was officially invited to perform at 4 showcases at Country Music Week 2015 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and enjoyed networking with other Canadian artists on her trip.   

 

She is proud to have some of Saskatchewan's top calibre musicians in her band... Quincy Bosovich (drums), Garth Howell (lead guitar) and Myles Myrol (bass).
