Mark Whitehead

Mark has been playing music ever since he was a kid, singing and playing mandolin in his Mom and Dads Gospel Bluegrass band at age 6.  Along the way he learned guitar, banjo, fiddle and pedal steel guitar. As he got older his desire to play country music became his dream, singing and playing the songs he had grew up listening to on WSM 650 AM every Friday and Saturday night.


Touring across the United States and Canada in the early 80's, he honed his craft and has shared the stage with many well known artist like John Anderson, TG Sheppard, Chubby Checker, Ricky Nelson just to name a few.


In 2010 he moved to Saskatoon, reuniting with the love of his life and the two married in 2011.  From 2010-2012 he played for Donny Parenteau and Kelly Bourdage of the Trick Ryder Band, and has been performing ever since with some of Canada's Top artists including Julian Austin, Dan Davidson, Duane Steele and others.
