There’s nothing better than local talent on the Creek stage
We’re excited to welcome Alicia Richels, a true small-town Saskatchewan girl, to Country at the Creek this summer
Born and raised right in Big River, SK, Alicia grew up surrounded by country living, strong community, and the kind of songs that tell a story. A big fan of ’90s country, she loves bringing those classic tunes back to life — the ones made for singing along in trucks, kitchens, and prairie dance halls.
When she’s not on stage, Alicia works in education supporting students and helping create a welcoming, encouraging school environment. She’s also heavily involved in her community, volunteering on local boards and committees — because around here, pitching in is just what you do.
She’ll be the first to say she still gets a little shy stepping up to the mic… but once the music starts and a good country song kicks in, those nerves disappear. And honestly, that’s what makes it even more special.
Come out and support one of our own — you might just find yourself singing along the whole time
