Dave Kenkel - VIP Lounge

Country at the Creek is pleased to welcome another artist we think you will enjoy hearing in the VIP Lounge only, or maybe at a campsite somewhere making new friends.

He is a  retired Air Traffic Controller who settled with his wife and pets on a little acreage near the small town of Paddockwood, Sk.  Back in 1997 he bought himself a beat up pawn shop guitar, teaching himself to play some chords.  

Dave has always been a singer and wanted to play as well.  As soon as he had learned three chords it all began with writing his own songs and he continues to write new music to this day, most recently having joined a Sing into Spring Songwriter's workshop at Ness Creek in the Jack Millikin Centre.

He has only begun to perform publicly within the last couple of years and very much enjoys the stage and sharing his songs.
