Edward Pimm

Edward Pimm is a 14 year old country music singer from Mayerthorpe, Alberta. He has been performing at the Stony Plain Cowboy Festival, as well as the Ivan Daines Country Pick-Nic in Innisfail, AB, since he was 9.

In 2022, Pimm was taken into the Global Country Canada artist development program, and opened their 30th Anniversary show, which was live streamed worldwide. He has been a Global Country guest performer with the band Trick Ryder several times in Edmonton at the Bev Munro Traditional Tuesday Night Dances and performed as a member of the band on New Years Eve 2 years in a row.

Edward was invited to perform a set at the Somewhere In Alberta showcase during the Canadian Country Music Association's Country Music Week in Calgary in September, 2022, being the youngest performer ever asked to showcase. His performance there drew the attention of Aaron Goodvin, who invited him to attend his show when he performed in Whitecourt, AB, and requested that he perform a song with his band during the show.

In 2023 Edward performed at Party In The Park in Whitecourt, Ol MacDonalds festival near Stettler, the Stony Plain Cowboy Festival, Country at the Creek Music Festival in Big River, and many more. He also did 6 sets at Big Valley Jamboree. He started out 2024 with a sold out show at the Olds Legion and in March of 2024, Edward travelled to Tennessee with Global Country to compete in the North American Country Music Associations International competitions in Pigeon Forge, where he won Male Traditional Country Entertainer of the Year in his age category, as well an a male vocalist award and a songwriter's award. While in Tennessee he also visited Nashville, where he showcased at the Troubadour Theatre, as well as at Legends Corner, Layla's and Roberts Western World.Edward discovered his singing talent watching classic Roy Rogers and Gene Autry movies and singing cowboy songs, before discovering his love for classic country from the 80's and 90's.
