I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to share that this year I’ll be singing at our music festival.

For the past 14 years, I’ve been busy organizing and coordinating the festival, making sure others have the opportunity to share their talents. This year, I’ve decided it’s my turn to step up to the microphone.

Music has always been part of my life. I grew up in a musical family, especially on my mom’s side. Some of my favorite memories are of her playing guitar and singing around the house. I loved listening to artists like Kitty Wells, Connie Francis, and Patsy Cline, and over the years singing has become something I’ve enjoyed, mostly in the comfort of my own home.

I’m certainly not a trained singer, but I’ve learned that sometimes you just have to take a chance and do something that brings you joy.I’m grateful to have the support of Rod Gjerde’s band, who will be backing me up, and I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with all of you.

This festival has always been about music, community, and bringing people together. I hope you’ll join us for another wonderful year—and maybe cheer me on as I try something new!
